Additionally, if you fill out a form and don't submit it, your entries are stored locally on your own device so that they're still here when you reload the page. However, this data is deleted automatically as soon as your browser session ends or the form is submitted and no one but you has access to it.

All this data is collected anonymously, which means the person behind it cannot be identified. I refer to this data as Device Information.

Who i share your Device Information with

The anonymous Device Information is collected using a service called Google Analytics and is therefore shared with that service as well.

Cookies are used to recognise a user when they revisit a website. Technically speaking, they are small files stored on your device that contain a unique anonymous identifier.

Local Storage & Session Storage

Local Storage is used to remember user choices, such as Cookie settings, when they return to this website.

Session Storage is used to remember user inputs, such as form entries, when a website is reloaded. Unlike Local Storage, it's automatically deleted as soon as the browser session ends.

SSL or TLS encryption

To protect the transfer of confidential information, my website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This way, data sent through this website cannot be read by others.

IP Anonymisation

Within the member states of the EU, IP addresses are shortened. This way, individual persons cannot be identified.

This site uses features of the Google Analytics web service by Google. The tool collects Device Information and upon consent, also sets Cookies.

Google complies with the European data protection law (GDPR) and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement. For full compliance, I have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Google as well.

This site is hosted by an external service provider called DigitalOcean. This means Personal Information collected on this site is stored on one of their servers, which is located in Germany.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access all Personal Information I hold about you and to ask that it may be corrected, updated, or deleted.

Of course, I can only delete your data if there are no legal requirements to keep it. In this particular case, data processing will only be limited, meaning the data will no longer be used for any other purpose.

You can always use your right of objection and refuse the processing of your personal data.

You can customise and reverse personal privacy settings that have already been saved.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to my practices or for other operational or legal reasons.
